Programs for Spiritual Growth/Formation
Some schools also offer degree programs for individuals seeking an introduction to theological thinking and reflection primarily for personal spiritual growth. These students may be seeking an experience to enhance their faith journey or perhaps to augment their non-theological vocation with a theological perspective. These degrees are also named in a variety of ways, and students interested in this approach to theological education usually are not planning to pursue professional teaching or research.
