The Fund for Theological Education offers financial aid and a network of support for first- and second-year seminarians pursuing vocations in ministry and theological scholarship. These fellowships provide assistance to outstanding candidates who otherwise might not have the means to complete their studies.
There are three types of fellowships available for seminary students:
- Congregational Fellowships provide financial aid to first-year seminarians through partnerships between FTE and individual congregations.
- VEV Fellowships provide financial assistance to first-year seminarians who are recent participants in faith-based volunteer programs through the Volunteers Exploring Vocation initiative.
- Ministry Fellowships provide financial and mentoring support to second-year seminarians to enrich their formation as ministerial leaders.
Current sophomores and juniors enrolled in accredited undergraduate programs at North American colleges and universities may be interested in Undergraduate Fellowships.
