FTE holds conferences and retreats as components of several of its fellowship programs. These conferences bring fellows together with scholars and church leaders to explore questions of ministry and to network with peers and mentors.

| For Congregations and Church-related Organizations |
| Each fall, FTE brings congregations together for a deeper exploration of their role in nurturing vocational exploration with young people and in cultivating the next generation of pastoral leaders. In workshops, plenary sessions, peer consultations and informal conversations, participants examine the elements of a congregation's "culture of call" and encounter vocational resources that they can take back home. |

| For FTE Doctoral and Dissertation Fellows |
| This conference provides an opportunity for Doctoral and Dissertation Fellows to engage with religious and theological faculty, as well as peers, to discuss contemporary issues in religion and theology, scholarship and teaching. The conference includes lectures, panels and workshops. Expenses for conference attendance are included as part of the Doctoral and Dissertation Fellowship awards. |
