Over 130 people across denominations, ethnic backgrounds, and geographic locales gathered October 8 – 10, 2009 in Atlanta, GA to listen, converse, worship and connect with leaders that take seriously the role of the congregation and its leaders in helping young people grow strong in their Christian identity and the call to ministry. One could feel the energy in the air as we listened to the inspiring words of Walter Brueggemann, participated in roundtable conversations, and experienced the awesome preaching of Judy Fentress-Williams. It was indeed a time of inspiration, connection and harvest. The title for our 2009 conference was "Awaken Young Lives to the Call" |
