About FTE

There are several ways to fund or help fund an FTE Fellowship:

Send a check - You may contribute to the Fund by check, making your gift payable to The Fund for Theological Education, and send it to the address below.

Make an online gift - Use your MasterCard or Visa to make your gift online. You'll receive a prompt receipt by e-mail.

Online transactions are secured by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, used to encrypt credit card numbers so they cannot be accessed or copied by unauthorized users.

Make a pledge - Can't write a check today? Contact Linda McKenzie and tell her when and how much you hope to give for the coming year. We'll send you a reminder just prior to the date you specify.

Give a gift of securities - These are gifts of appreciated securities that have accumulated in value and that you have owned more than one year and one day. The present fair market value of the stock, including its capital appreciation, can count as a gift to FTE that is deductible when you file your income tax for the year you make the gift.

Gifts in Trust or through Your Estate - The Fund encourages you to consider making a bequest to the Fund through your estate plans. Such a bequest can become part of the permanent endowment of the Fund, perpetuating your interest in seeing that gifted young people are always encouraged toward ministry and teaching in the Church. If you would like to have language from the Fund to create a bequest in your will, we would be happy to provide it.

You may also wish to explore creating a charitable remainder gift that supports you or others during your lifetimes and then comes to the Fund at the end of the lives of those you name. This kind of gift carries significant tax advantages, and can eventually provide for endowment of support for gifted young people preparing for ministry and teaching.

For more information and assistance with any of these giving opportunities, please contact Linda McKenzie, Development Associate, Office of Advancement, at 404-727-1465 or write to:
